ȘERBAN DĂNESCU - Partner

Șerban advises clients primarily in civil and administrative litigation and in international commercial arbitration. Serban’s practice spans various areas, such as construction arbitration, State liability, and commercial disputes.

Șerban has graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Bucharest in 2015 and is a member of the Bucharest Bar Association since 2015.

He holds an LL.B. (2014) and Master 1 (2015) from Paris I Pantheon Sorbonne University and an LL.M. in International Dispute Resolution and Economic Law (2016) from Queen Mary University of London, cum laudae.

Highlights of Șerban’s activity include:

  • representing a foreign investor in several international construction arbitrations, with an aggregate value of over 30 million EUR, against the Romanian road infrastructure company;
  • assisting a foreign investor with the enforcement of arbitral awards against the Romanian road infrastructure company;
  • representing a professional poker player in a claim against one of the largest international poker platforms;
  • representing a European construction company in a VIAC arbitration concerning the sale of steel beams.
